This upcoming week is going to be short and sweet! We have school on Monday, November 19th and Tuesday, November 20th, and then we have 3 days off for Thanksgiving vacation!

In language arts, we're going to continue working on persuasive essays. The below list contains some of the topics students chose:

In reading, we will begin a new unit on Mythology. We will spent time Monday and Tuesday discovering some pretty interesting facts about the 12 main gods and goddesses of Greek and Roman mythology.
For instance, did you know that Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom was born out of Zeus's brain?
